FIXING THE FOUNDATIONS OF WEST NORTHANTS

West Northamptonshire needs a fresh start. Only Labour can fix the foundations and deliver real change. We need a Labour-run Council, working with the Labour government, to get the best deal for West Northants.

We know people are expecting the Labour government to turn the country around as quick as we can. But after 14 years of a Conservative government our country is in a complete mess. Nothing works, our towns need investment, everything is getting more and more expensive.

Here in Northamptonshire, the Conservatives’ financial mismanagement put our county council out of business.
Now history is repeating itself with the Tory council overspending on projects and failing to deliver the services residents deserve. Our NHS is broken. Our roads have been neglected. And the dream of home ownership has ended for many. West Northamptonshire isn’t reaching its full potential.

The Labour government has rolled up its sleeves and started fixing the essentials. We have ended the doctors strikes and invested to fix our NHS. We’ve set up a border security force to finally secure our borders and sent back over 10,000 illegal migrants. And we’ve given millions of low paid workers a pay rise.

There is no easy fix to the mess left behind by the Conservatives. We have still got so much to do. Northamptonshire is a proud place. It deserves better than four more years of Conservative failure.
